Bernadette Peters (born Bernadette Lazzara, born on February 28 1948) is an American performer and actress as well as a children's author who hails from Ozone Park Queens New York . Bernadette Peters has over her career of five decades, appeared in TV and film productions, as well as solo shows. Her name is one of the most well-known artists. The actress was nominated in seven Tony Awards (winning two) and also winning 8 Drama Desk Awards. Grammy Awards went to four Broadway Cast Albums where she was a part of.
