Aisha Jamila Hinds is a popular American actress. She is known for the roles she played in television series The Shield, and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has proven her ability as an actress, delivering amazing performances on TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. Her role on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to catch her notice. Her role in the biographical movie All the Way as the woman's rights activist Fannie Lou Hammer attracted the notice of the general public. Hind is also being recognized for her role was playing in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed 9-1-1 for a brand new season.
