She was brought up with two brothers and one sibling. Hungarian was the first language she learned and practiced regularly to ensure the fluency. Bruckner is a Californian in Hollywood born daughter of a Hungarian father and a Russian mother. Her paternal grandparents are German. In Hungary the parents of Bruckner initially met before moving to America in 1984, via an asylum settlement in Italy. She has two brothers. She also has two other sisters.
